Join us as we explore the often overlooked narratives of Israeli women amid the tumult of war and widespread sexual violence. These women exhibit unwavering resolve, boundless courage, and a profound sense of purpose in the face of adversity.

Our keynote speaker, Orit Sulitzeanu, will share firsthand experiences of Israeli women's trauma, perseverance, and courage amidst a nation at war.

Speaker: Orit Sulitzeanu Executive Director of the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel

Orit Sulitzeanu serves as the Executive Director of The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel, a position she has held since 2013. She holds M.A. degrees in Non-Profit Management and Communications, both with honours, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Before her tenure at the ARCCI, Sulitzeanu led the Department of Communications at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she also chaired the Gender Equality Committee. Prior to that, she served as the spokesperson for the Israel Women's Network (IWN), the country's foremost women advocacy group.

Under Sulitzeanu's leadership, the ARCCI has garnered recognition, including the Emil Grunzweig Award for Human Rights in 2015 and the Minister’s Award for Social Equality in 2017. She herself has received accolades such as the Jerusalem Wizzo Award for Groundbreaking Woman in February 2018.

A prominent figure in Israeli parliament (the Knesset), Sulitzeanu is a sought-after media guest and commentator on issues related to sexual harassment. She resides in Tel Aviv with her husband and three children.
